Pocket money can be a valuable way of teaching child responsibility. Teenagers should learn to be independent and it will help them to practice managing money while they still have guidance of their parents. Pocket money can help them feel that they are important members of the family because they are given part of the family's spending money. It also helps us to learn how to make choices. Having pocket money halps us to understand better that sometimes people have to wait and save up their money if they want to get something they really want. I think that it would be great if I got enough money to get by. And it's a great idea to save some money, because is teaches you to be patient and responsible. It also gives us a chance to get something we want when our parents can't give us enough money to buy it.
