You can also get a glimpse at the scenery, the sets, the wings. 7. A few adys ago I had a chance to visit a theatre. 8. The seats were in the stalls. 9. It was the first night and the house was full. 10. The cast was splendid. 11. The audience followed the play with great interest, everyone was impressed by the acting. 12. The main characters were superb. 13. Even the minor roles were acted with great feeling. 14. When the curtain fell after the first act the audience burst into applause. 15. I think the director made a great job. 16. It must be difficult to adapt a literary masterpiece to the stage. 17. But the leading actor was versatile and all the cast took the house by storm! 18. It was an unforgettable performance.
