Yesterday was Sunday. It was my day off and my family and I went to the country. The weather was fantastic, the sky was clear and the sun shone brightly. My dad said that it would not be rainy. It was great! In the country I swam in the river which was not far awat from our country house. It took 5 minutes to get there by bike. My brother and I fished and I hoped to catch some fish. My mother and grandmother planted flowers. They grew beautiful flowers and a lot of tasty fruit and vegetables. My dad made a green-house in the house. He taught me different skills and I tried to help him. I learnt with great pleasure. In the evening we had a barbecue. My parents invited our neighbours to join us! I am sure we had a very good time in the country.
