I don’t think it would be a good idea to keep any wild animal as a pet. They cannot be pets, their ancestors have never lived with people. It would not only be foolish to have such animals as pets, but also very cruel.

 

2 why are people so attached to their pets?

The animals we call pets are, in fact, our friends and family. There are people who are more comfortable in the company of their pets than with other people

 

3 why do people sometimes abandon their pets?

People don’t abandon their pets. Those strange creatures who do such things are neither people nor animals, they are more like aliens whose psychology cannot be understood.

 

4 what pet would you recommend to a person who has never had pets?

 I would recommend an old female cat from a shelter. 

Yes, I think keeping exotic animals in a flat is dangerous for owners. We can't provide necessary conditions close to  their natural ones. I'd never keep spiders or snakes at home. They would better to stay in Africa, South America or Australia. Usually all  exotic beings are poisonous. It's a great secret why people are attached to their pets. Pets give us their fidelity and love. We only feed  and walk. For people pets are like a toy, the way to demonstrate human's status. And these facts explain me why people abandon their pets. These people aren't resposible for the pet, they aren't responsible for themselves and their descisions. It  makes me upset.  I wouldn't recomend any animal to a person who had never had pets. Let him make own descission and be responsible for this important thing.
