Lovers of history, and especially the castle-fortification of its parts, is sure to delight a medieval fortress in the city of Bendery. It is a monument of architecture of XVI century, which stands on the right Bank of the Dniester river. Although it is built on the model of Western FORTS Bastion type, it was built by the Turks, who owned the land then. Despite its more than respectable age, the fortress is in pretty decent condition.
