Good language learner is responsible, attentive listener, and patient while doing work.  

This person should be hard-working and interested in the language as well as being patient and creative. Another important thing is being positive about the difficulty of the language and not being nervous and exhausted because of the lack of time. You should just take you time and be curious to learn more!
