My name is Alex, I am 12 years old. My favourite holiday is my birthday. On this day, I get up early, but my mother is already in the kitchen preparing food for the holiday table. In the morning, my family and friends start giving me gifts and congratulating me. My parents and younger brother always want me to remember this day for a long time, so they decorate the flat with colourful balloons. Usually my friends and relatives come to us on this day. We sit down at the table and start celebrating my birthday. Everyone is having a lot of fun, music is playing loudly, everyone is dancing and communicating with each other. At the end of the holiday, we turn off the lights, and dad brings in a large cake with candles. I have to blow out the candles and make a wish. After that, we drink tea with the cake and then go to see the guests off. I would like to celebrate my birthday every month, because all our family and friends can meet together on this day.
