1. Reading Task 1. Read the text and complete the tasks below.
Would you like to live in a house of an unusual shape, e.g. the shape of a boot, a ship or a piano. It’s quite amazing, I think. This wonderful house in the shape of a shell was built by Javier Senostian near the city of Mexico in 2006. A young couple with two children were tired of living in a usual way, so they left the city life and moved to this colorful residence to live in harmony with nature.
The house has got two floors and spiral staircases. Inside there is a living room, a large bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom is blue and yellow with small windows overhead. It’s very bright. In the living room there is a large grass carpet on the floor, a stream and windows of different colours. Outside there is a nice garden with trees.
The modern Nautilius House is wonderful to look at, walk through and enjoy the view - a blend of modern architecture and contemporary art.
