I know that not many children think their school uniform to be cool. They think their uniform isn't as bright and comfortable as their clothes for everyday wear.
If these children could choose what to wear at school, they would probably go for T-shirts, jeans and trainers. Personally, I do not think it is a right thing to do. I believe that school uniforms bring a sense of belonging to a school. I also agree with people who think that wearing a school uniform can improve learning because it reduces distraction, sharpens our focus on schoolwork and makes the classroom a more serious environment.
I know that in the past most school uniforms were too dull and shapeless and were designed to standardize all students, so that nobody could show their individuality. But present-day school uniforms look really well, they are fashionable and stylish. Moreover, they are designed to be washed easily and are not expensive. With uniforms we do not have to spend a lot of time in the morning trying to decide what to wear.
